A Catholic school in Clifton has existed since 1917, with the school expanding and being named St Francis de Sales in 1962. Over this century, our school has upheld a reputation for offering Clifton families a school community where students feel valued and supported to reach their full potential.
We believe that all students can experience academic success with the right support and our teaching staff continuously look for ways to better understand how students learn, and how to best meet their learning needs. This is complemented by a strong commitment to professional development under the leadership of the Diocese of Toowoomba Catholic Schools Office.
Our school is well resourced and maintained and students enjoy a large covered multi-purpose area and spacious ovals for sport and leisure. We are proud to afford our students most of the same opportunities of larger city schools, within a smaller and therefore, more cohesive community.
St Francis de Sales is part of the Catholic Parish of St James and St John's Clifton and enjoys a supportive affiliation with Parish community.
