Our school is nestled in the picturesque country side of the Southern Downs Region, which offers an opportunity for country living in a rural setting, close to the major centres of Warwick and Toowoomba.
As principal of St Francis de Sales, I believe the love of learning is developed through engaging interests, coupled with expert teaching so students can achieve both inside and beyond the school gates.
Immersed with the Benedictine Traditions and the Sisters of The Good Samaritan Charism, our students develop skills that make them life-long learners - living each day as motivated, confident and caring young people - members of our community.
Multi-age classrooms are common in small schools, and our expert curriculum planning, development and alignment across a number of year levels is crucial to ensure student success. Students generally thrive in a multi-age class as the structure enables the student to work at their own ability level. High potential learners are naturally extended by older students and those who need a little more support or revision are able to work with other students at a similar level within the class.
For the staff of St Francis de Sales, the partnering with families to further a child’s learning is a privilege and we take this seriously. We value working with parents and the support they provide at home for their children’s learning.
If you have any enquiries or are considering St Francis de Sales for your child's primary schooling, I invite you to visit our school or make contact with us.
